Guy's, I've got a 6mm remington built on a pre-64 action. The barrel is some sort of custom stainless, the only mark on it (other than the chambering)is a cloverleaf. The barrel is a 1-9 twist. I would like set this gun up for a long range deer/varmit rifle. Is a 6mm remington capable of 500-600 yard kills on deer? If so what bullets?
