I forgot to add my Shilen barrel on my 6mm is the 1&12 twist and i had .244 stamped on the barrel . I built this rifle mostly for varmint hunting, but the Hornady 87 gr BTHP works great on Whitetail. Here in this part of TN & VA shots over 400 yards are rare and most come at 200 yards and under . Just not many place you see deer over 400 yards to many woods for that distant and big open fields the deer are just to smart to hang out in them.

My 6mm AI is 1-10" and will spin the 105.

Much prefer the 243AI to it and 9" to boot.................
