These days $1 per pound for decent wheelweights is not too unreasonable. 15 years ago I paid about 35 cents/lb IIRC.

Just be sure what kind of wheelweights you're getting for your money. See the "Wheel weights" thread in Big Game Rifles.

Tin is horribly expensive. Called some welding supply places in town for 50/50 bar solder and the best price available was $20 and change per pound. One place sold it for "$10 a piece". A piece - one triangular strip - weighs about 1/4 pound.
