Hi Mark, I go high in the shoulders if it's right and I'm near a river, bayou or something I don't want the animal getting into.
This usually gets the lower spine and there is no chicken dance to watch and I don't get to swim bayous to find deer.
If it lands too far back, you will mess up straps and loin.
