And don't EVER take the action apart unless you totally know what you're doing! I stripped mine once, and it took me three evenings to get it back together. What an idiot. I swore never again. It (octagon bbl .30'06) was the most accurate out-of-the-box factory rifle I ever owned, with the lousiest factory trigger I ever owned.
