Another 8x57 question. In order to get this rifle zeroed with the peep sight I ran out of adjustment on the peep and had to shim the appature sight base .045" to the right to get it zeroed. Im guessing that the front sight might be slightly off center causing this, also the crown is pretty ugly. I'm thinking of cutting it down to 20".
Anyone else ever play with a shorty 8x57? What kind of velosity loss did you have??
