That helps. From what I have been able to figure the only difference is about 8 ounces .... wasn't sure if it was in the action or the stock. Went down to my local shop with the intention of ordering a 84L and it will be at least 6 to 8 weeks for either the 25-06 or the 280AI. There is a new 25-06 on GB in the 8400 Classic for about $300 cheaper and was really wondering if the difference was sufficient enough to warrant it.
