As far as weight, I know ultra lights are all the rage now but back in the day a lot of the military sporters and even the fabled pre-64 70s weren't a whole lot lighter than a Garand. I also figured those WWII vets were pretty used to the weight by then! It ain't what you don't know that makes you an idiot...it's what you know for certain, that just ain't so... Most people don't want to believe the truth~they want the truth to be what they believe. Stupidity has no average...
