Just a quick note to jamming .284's. I have a .25 /284 88 built on a 1958 action, it has a Hart stainless barrel that shoots like a bolt rifle. Now the but,it has very lazy ejection, and it will misfeed 25 % of the time. I am having the barrel pulled, cotuor duplicated and a new 7mm08 barrel installed. My .308s feed great and I just cannot see having a lever gun that wont get a second shot off.
