Athens is the home of Mayfield Dairy which was bought out by Dean Foods.

Your correct on Mayfield Dairy, not Purity.

Has there been any industrial growth in either Polk or McMinn counties in the past 3 or 4 years? It seems that Cleveland in Bradley County has grown. Bigger areas will grow quicker anyway, growth inspires other growth.

I sure like the way the state has been making US 64 four lanes up to the edge of the NF on both ends. I like to take US 64 at least a couple of times a year over to Cherokee, NC. in the Summer or over to Helen, GA. in the Fall. I'd like to see four lanes through the NF, but that my never happen due to environmental reasons.

If gas goes sky high this Summer, short vacation trips may be in order. I'd like to go spend a few days and fish Parkville Lake.
