The A-Max is harder to stabilize because it's a bit longer. None-the-less, it will sometimes stabilize in a 10" twist barrel, via 22" .243 Win, but it's hit and miss.
Longer than what? HPBT is longer.
Maybe I'm mis-remembering. I thought for sure the A-Max was the longer of the two...
