It was literally millions of men and women, each voting for the person they support and want, that are giving Romney that nomination, not the 'establishment'.
And those millions of people weren't influenced by a nearly virtual news blackout, arranged by the establishment, of Paul's candidacy leading up to, and carried on throughout, the primary process?
Now that's a crock. RP was at the debates, he got a chance to speak and be heard. The problem was his message sucked and his presentation sucked and he was waaaaay out in left field on foreign affairs and national defense. That's what sunk his candidacy. What about all that money RP raised? The establishment didn't tell him how to spend it..HE made that determination. It wasn't that RP's message didn't get out..it got out. It's just that the people didn't like his message and they didn't like him and you Paulbots can't admit that, so you have to find somewhere else to put the blame, so you put it on the 'establishment'. This is what, his 3rd presidential campaign? It's not like nobody ever heard of him before, it's not like he didn't make it on Face the Nation and Meet the Press and CNN. He was there. It was just that he and his platform were so wacko that nobody could or would take him seriously, and they sure as hell wouldn't vote to put him in the presidency. So come down off your conspiracy high horse and deal with the facts. You don't have to like'em, but you better face'em, if only for your own benefit.
