I normally shoot 100 grain nosler ballistic tips for deer and cant remember ever keeping one in a deer. These have all been from 25-06s 25-06 ackley and a couple 257 weatherbys. I have even shot a few with the plane jane 100 grain hornady interlock and never kept one inside a deer. I did shoot the 110 grain accubonds and went back to the ballistic tips as they are cheaper and couldnt tell any difference on deer. If you wanting a cheap bullet to practice tons and still hammer deer than I would shoot the 100 grain nosler ballistic tip or the 100 grain hornady interlock.
