I wholeheartedly reccomend thet you snatch one up if you get the chance. They carry wonderfully, are quick to the shoulder, and the 200 gr corelokts really perform well on almost any deer to elk sized game. I have two and will never part with either.
What he said! If I plan on hunting in an area where the shot will be close, my Marlin 336 in 35 Remington will be with me. I have hunted deer since 1966 and all of the deer I have killed except for one could have been easily taken with my 35 Remington. The other one could have been taken with the 35 Remington, it just would have been a little harder to do.
