My best ever group at 1580 yards as I recall the distance was the right wind long enough to load and fire 3 rounds. Made something like a group of around 7 inches on a 55 gallon drum.
Of course it was not even as small as a 338 mag.... twas a 50.
Still I'd like to have a 338 Edge or Lapua.
