You don't want to do that Mark. If you've been on it and are dependant on it, wihtdrawals are NOT going to make you feel better. Don't take my word for it, ask your doc who is managing your pain. Are you seeing a pain specialist?

Also, I think you are going to be very disappointed about how much pain the weed is going to relieve. I am not a pain specialist, but I seriously doubt marijuana is going to take care of your pain. I think it's worth a shot, and you may see some benefit overall, but pain relief is not likely to be a big part of that.

Good point, probably wiser to wean off more slowly using alternative methods to allow that. Yes, I am seeing a paion specialist, a regular MD, a Kidney Specialist, and other specialists doing all that I can to be pro active about maintaining life quality and expectancy/longevity. It is possibly now time to go outside the box and norms a bit for the best possible results utilizing the resources at hand. I am also doing naturopathic stuff like lemon juisce in water to minimize cycst growth, limiting myself to one protien or meat meal per day, Eatiing a very high fiber diet with lots of fruit etc. Doing all I know to do.
