The reason for gun controll would be the high number of gunrelated deaths in the US.
As someone said though, its not the guns that kill ppl its the guy pulling the trigger,
And as I said to my mum when she became worried I would snap and kill my familly;
"IF I snap I can very easilly kill my wife and my kids with my bare hands. I don't need a gun for that. We'll just have to hope that I don't snap, won't we?"
