I did use Partition Golds when they were out in the late 90's they were 180gr WS ammo...loved them. I too prefer 180gr in the 300WM/WSM. Switched to 180gr Accubonds in 2004 and never looked back. Shot both the factory and now reload since 2005. I cannot see why the 165 PG wont work. Couple of friends reload 165gr AB's in their 300WSM and love them.
