To be honest, the mount that I linked to looks far more beefy and stout than the Leica mount. The one I linked to is made in the USA of steel with a foam-padded bed for the bino to sit on, with a velcro strap that's plenty big to go around my 42mm binos. I would suspect it'd have no trouble going around larger binos, either.
I have been VERY impressed, considering the price.
