If you just want a rifle to put in the back of the closet to take out and kill something a couple of times a year, get a Savage. If you want a rifle that you're not ashamed to be seen with, get a Remington.
And from what I've experienced at various factory matches, that myth about Savage accuracy is pretty much that, a myth.
