Well, I hope you guys are happy now that you have this forum...
I have never cared for drillings, and could never see a use for them in the US...
But for some unexplained reason, I have always liked the combination guns...
My biggest disappointment, was once I found one for sale. It was a 16 ga over a 7x65R. The guy who owned it didn't even know what it was...
Unfortunately, someone had shortened the stock by about 3" and then put a contrasting piece of wood back on. It looked terrible...
He wanted $2000 for it. I offered him $800... 'Cause at the time, I figured it'd take another $1K to restock it. I always wished he'd have taken my money for it. By now I'd have had it done.
