Out of all the responses this comes closest to addressing MHP's mindset in making the statement she did.

It wasn't children in general but the inner city kids who have no parental guidance. They're disadvantaged and need the help of govt, the community, and society at large to succeed.

It's all about getting more whether it's money, food, babysitting, education, guidance, integrity ... anything and everything that parents should provide but don't. It's the socialist mindset and desire for a nanny state ... literally.


I understand the reasoning behind what they are postulating...my problem is that given an inch they will take a mile.

It is what Government departments do...and you can bet your bottom dollar that any group that finds a way to control others will be integrated into some Government department.

Less interference I get, the happier I am.
