I've slept 4 (myself, my wife, my sister, and her husband) in the SL-5 with the standard SL-5 nest. Worked well and able to fit all our packs either in the nest or in the vestibule. Granted we weren't hunting so we had less gear, but it was very mangable for four of us. If we were going for a week though I'd likely bring the SL-8
