In the Dynamit Nobel hand loading manual of 1995 you can find some loading data, but they load their own powders. Dynamit Nobel developed a special 4,8 gramm (74 grs) KS bullet for this cartridge. The maximum load results in 975 m/s (3197 f/s). The maximum load for the 5,6 x 57 results in 1020 m/s (3344 f/s). The manual also list some data for a 4,1 gramm sp bullet, whose max. speed is 1085 m/s (3557 f/s). (5,6 x 57: 1100 m/s = 3606 f/s)
If you are interested in the concrete data, send me a pm. The powders, which are used, are RWS powders. I think, you can buy them in the US.
A friend of mine shot his roe deer with the 5,6 x 57 and the KS bullet in his Krico repeating rifle and was very satisfied with the cartridge. But he never chanced a shot on bigger game. I think this was a right decision.
