I am thinking about putting a Kampfeld campfire size bolt knob on a remington 700 bolt handle. I know these are really popular on here and they look great.
However, I would like to hear some opinions and experiences about this not being a good idea. In theory putting stress and weakness right where you continually cycle the bolt makes sense that this could eventually lead to a problem.
Can anyone here speak to this good or bad?
