weagle Campfire Tracker W Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 3,336 Sandy Springs Georgia	Put the screw back in. It holds the forend spring assembly in place. Pull down on the front of the forend and it will snap off. Your gun looks pretty minty so the spring may be pretty stiff. Good shooting, Weagle
