Real guns for real shooters...and loonies too. Saying it goes w/o saying...sometimes it needs repeating LOUDLY....QUALITY GOES A LOT FURTHER THAN BS in firearm production. Hope somebody important heard that. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

I tend toward older guns for fun and sometimes serious work. Quality modern works are amazing tools and I appreciate that, and I use them, even though they sometimes lack soul. I shall not mention those oldies currently being produced by the likes of C. Sharps, Ballard etc. etc.....they ARE being made. So my shortish list:

The Henry Rifle chambered in the .44 Henry Flat
Win. Mod 88...action slicked, as it never was
Win. Mod 42
Browning patent .22 auto chambered in .22 Short
Some of the Fox or Parker repro's with Damascus barrels...nothing was ever so lovely.

There are others but this will do for now. More than any of this though, I'd prefer to see "Made in USA" rather than other places of non-sequitor lineage...stamped or engraved.

I am..........disturbed.
