This is my best buffalo. Not huge spread but his bosses were worn smooth as fine furniture and he had a roman nose and scars everywhere. Happened to be the easiest buff I've taken as we were motoring through the miombo in the Selous in the evening after my wife had taken a zebra. Just at last light we saw him about 80 yards off and the PH said "Shoot that buffalo!"
Since I had already taken another buff earlier in the safari and our PH knew I only wanted to take another buff if he was really nice I knew he was a good one. Jumped out of the LandCruiser and shot.
