The collapse of the dollar and the dollar not being the petro dollar any longer may be the best thing that could happen to the U.S. It's going to collapse eventually anyway. The can cannot be kicked down the road forever. It's going to be painful no matter how or when it happens and we all know it will happen.

If we cannot continue to consume their products they will be in much worse shape than we will. U.S. has the workforce to rebuild our manufacturing base, it has the energy resources, and it has sufficient technology. The best thing that can happen is that America produces and consumes it's own production again. We certainly have enough consumption potential and anyone that wants to survive will have to work instead of getting a handout. Sure you will be working for what amounts to be the same as what people get paid for the crap we buy from overseas. No more shipping scrap and getting back worthless junk at a high price.

IMO we need to pull our horns in and rebuild ourselves from within and quit worry about who is going to buy our debt. I hope they do quit buying our debt. Build in America and buy American. If other countries want our production fine but it wouldn't be essential in the short run.

America has poor leadership and poor policy. We need to get people back to work making us strong. The collapse of the dollar is the only way to get our country back and the sooner it happens the sooner it can get back to fixing what needs to be fixed.
