I also have a bag of parts that is a complet M 12 mod choke 28 in. That I was told was recovered from a house fire. The barrel is toast, bad pitting. I think the rest might be salvageable, with a new barrel. Would the receiver need to be Rockwell tested to make sure it's safe?



The nickle steel needs a special bluing process, or you will end up with a purple barrel.
Make sure that the person you use can do nickle steel.
