The error you're making is assuming that sarcasm can be nonsensical.

I would expect that the concerns about unvaccinated feral cattle that have never before been handled are valid. Likewise just a few generations of feral outcrossing in hogs can undo years of careful selection. I imagine its not to hard to create scrub cattle under feral conditions.
