I'd give them a little more time and see if it catches on. The .308 AR market has largely drifted to the DPMS (old style) and SR-25 style parts and receiver heights. Even Armalite has come back and now offering DPMS/SR-25 pattern magazines. I would hold off on jumping on the DMPS GII bandwagon until it is proven to be a more reliable setup and aftermarket parts support is out there. The GII rifles may just be the way of the future for the .308. However, I'd feel more comfortable knowing that's where the market was headed before investing in a new platform.

I have handled them and they are nice. I just wouldn't want to buy one and then DPMS change something again like they have in the past.
