I'm going to act like I didn't see this model 75 thread. My story: I was at a table at one of the antique firearms/collector gunshows in the PNW and I ran across one of the nicest Deluxe sporter wt 75's I've ever seen. The guy told me he would take $575.00 cash for it and in walks a guy with an old (1937 deluxe) model 71. My friend taps me on the shoulder and tells me to check out the 71. I had been looking for a 71 at a decent price for a while (long while). Earlier that day I found 100 pieces of 1x fired 348 win brass so I figured it was my destiny to buy the 71 instead. I still regret not having enough money to buy the 75 that day. Oh I forgot to mention, I also bought a very nice std wt pre 64 model 70 (I later sold to raybass) earlier that day at that yard sale. Moral of the story. I NEVER HAVE ENOUGH MONEY!!!!! sick
