That's one of those perspective issues. Others say the BLM is purposely propping up ranchers to keep them in business by charging them ridiculously low grazing fees.

The BLM, at least in general, does it's best to balance competing interests. Sometimes it greatly benefits ranchers, in others that management is the straw that breaks the camel's back.

I just read that the BLM allows grazing on 155 of 245 million acres of land the BLM manages. If they are trying to manage ranchers out of business, they are doing a very poor job!
