Doc, that would be a Winchester Model 23. I have a pair of those with screw-in chokes. My experience with those is about the same as yours. Those guns will just about bring me to tears, trying to shoot a couple rounds of skeet! Don't mind them so much for pheasant, even tho they are a mite heavy.
