For the record I called Ruger about the problem, they mailed me 2 magazines gratis. New mags are wider.
Did the same thing with my dads 243 and ruger sent me one new one. I'll open the lips up a bit tonight on the bad one and then I'll have two when somebody buys it. Mine was doing exactly what SAS picture depicted.
