You guys may not know the full saga on Gunner's .505 Gibbs. It started life as a .416 Rigby. He shot it so much, he wore out the barrel, then had it rebored and chambered for .505 Gibbs.
Now, how many .416's, etc,. have any of you heard of being shot out?
Not sure how long his .505 tube will last and what his rebore options will be.

Looks like the 585 Hubel Express is a rechamber/rebore option should YOU or i shoot out the Gibbs barrel.
I traded my .404J after shoulder surgery, leaving a SS M-70 Classic .375 H&H as my "big" gun. So, I'm not even close to being in your league...
With another rebore, that .505G barrel is going to be getting pretty thin...
And thin mean light weight, which means bad azz kicker...
Yo kinda gun, for sure...
