Interesting thread.
What is the difference between those who re-write the Holy Bible in efforts to obscure/justify their intentional sin - and those who jest with Old Testament laws for what appear to be self-serving ends?
Probably about the same difference as those who ignore or claim as allegory the parts of the old testament they don't like but hang on to the parts they agree with.
