When we bought our house in 2001, my wife loved everything about it except the kitchen. Too small, she said. After saving for a few years, we have enough to build the kitchen she wants, but the deal is that we continue to save at the same rate for my 6 car garage I've been wanting for a while too .

Three weeks into the kitchen project, which also turned into a deck replacement. The Trex deck we had didn't come up too well for the addition, and we decided to go back with #1 pressure treated pine.







Still a good 6 to 8 weeks to go, and I'm missing good home cooked food already.
