Looked up my records. My thinking at the time was alot of magpro in a roomy case could be good.
I used neck sized win cases w/a 190 hornady.
64 grains magpro got to the bottom of the neck.
The result was a pretty pathetic 2560 fps and dirty burn.
I can outdo this w/my 308 savage.
Now you'll probably need an extra grain or two of magnum to match this.
Bottom line...go for it if you have another gun to burn the magnum in.....I just don't think you're gonna have much luck here.
