Speed sounds reasonable, especially if you have a 22" barrel, and given the fact they shoot very well. Though I haven't run that specific bullet, I've use a lot of interlocks (various calibers and weights) on deer with predictable results. I would use them in your 270 with no hesitation for deer/black bear. When my current supply of 130 ballistic tips runs out I will be switching to interlocks in my 270. Heck, they had to be designed with a 270 Winchester in mind!
