Wish I could help you, but I'm another one that's not collected a spent bullet - only dead game. When I start working-up a hunting load, I usually reach for an Interlock.
.270 - 140's, .308 165's and 180's, .358 250's and .284 154's have worked like a charm.
FWIW, if you do some Googling of 24HCF, Dogzapper has had some really high praise for the .284 154, and .308 150. And he's felled a few critters.
