Down in California recently, on the trip down to New Mexico for the Campfire get together, I was sitting with my truck idling at a parking lot in Redding, while Scott F went into a Wendy's to grab a burger....
This guy comes up and tells me my engine is running rough... claims to be an automotive engineer.. tells me I need to try SLick 50 in it... he wasn't try to sell me any...
made claims of being on the design team when it was being 'invented'....
just out of curiosity, anyone ever regular use this stuff?
I've heard some swear by it and many more swear at it.. claiming it is just another chemical being marketed that doesn't do a darn thing....
This old guy was claiming it makes engines last a million miles etc...
when Scott got back to the truck,. this guy drove off in his Toyota Yaris, with Montana plates on it.... which makes me think he is just a transient looney...
but if anyone has had good luck with it, I'd like to hear it...
