Picked up a 1949 Model 70 Target 270 last weekend at a local gun show here in Michigan. Was wondering if there was anything special about these rifles in regards to how they were put together and if/how they were bedded. Were they basically made the same way as the standard rifle? Any unique info on them from more knowledgeable forum members would be appreciated.
