The hunter spotted it spouting about a mile away. She closed the distance to about a half-mile. The blue whale breached. She fired her .270 Win at that distance. Her bullet penetrated through-and-through its thorax ripping its heart to shreds; hence, there was no blood trail. The 100 grain .270 Win killed it instantly. She lassoed the body and set sail for shore. From what I've been told, its a full body mount on a bathroom wall above her bathtub in her mansion. She wanted to keep it close to water ;-)
