had fun over 2 days in late July took a GAP 223 and a browning 22/250 learned lots (ie need a bench and binoculars and a 4x4) looking at replacing the 223 (too heavy) and replacing it with a walking weight 223 or a 220 swift?
I bought a used 220 medium weight rifle out there and was thinking for a walking rifle it might be cool to only buy 220 ammo and split them between both guns versus buying 223 the only trade off is barrel life but 100 rounds a day would be pushing it.
shots were 50 yards to 300 and we were not machine gunning them only 1 gun up at a time the other guy scanning 2 shots were all they allowed before you spent a lot of time scanning.
any thoughts?
