In My 1-14" Rem 788 24" 22-250 Boat Tails starts going wrong over .800" At .805" the Flat base Winchester Power Point 64gr gives excellent accuracy. The 55gr Nosler BT at .805" or .810" depending on era it was made is not very stabile. The Speer 70gr Semi pointed at .790 is useable But not as accurate as the 64gr Win PP at the just slightly longer .805" length. Elevation here is 4200' and low humidity is normal. The 52gr HPBT or FBHP might be the perfect weight for accuracy in the 1-14" 22-250. But in the effective range for Big game hunting, I'll stick with the 64gr Win PP
