If building sporter hunting rifle and handload - I'd do a 47 Lapua, 2B, 21"
My Light Palma is nice at 22.5, but wish I'd stuck to my original plan and done a 20-21. May trim it, my next will be 20.5
2B, 3, 4, or light palma. The more carried, the lighter the contour, for stand hunting mostly, the 4 or LP will steady better.
8t Bartlein or Krieger, in that order. ON a budget, a Ruger Predator Creedmoor, chopped to 20-21, no more than 22. Trigger tune/swap and a McM handle.
