Pretty much mirrors my situation. The .250 was pillar bedded and had a rosewood fore end tip and grip cap added. The .300 lost its j-lock and has been bedded and floated. Both are way more accurate than they have a right to be. Here's the .250 with its 6x42 Leupold:

My 250 and 300 have been bedded, floated, and trigger tuned. They are both quite accurate with several different handloads.

I'd really like to nail a big buck with the 250 to see what the magnum shooters at the camp have to say. grin
