I can't help but reflect on how difficult it is for us to accept a gift. If a friend gives us something our first reaction is, "How much do I owe you?" When they tell us it's a gift we tend to argue with them insisting that we do something so that we won't be beholden to them. It's that way with the ultimate Gift---our Salvation. Ponder that, if you will.
